The Saada Family Fellowship Fund

The Saada Family Fellowship Fund was established by Dr. Adel Saada through a gift of retirement assets to ensure his legacy and the important research he started when he arrived at Case in the early 1960’s continues beyond his time on campus. The fund provides fellowships to students pursuing a PhD in civil engineering and since its inception, has provided $1.2 million in support to students.

In 2022-23, two PhD students in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering received support.

Dr. Saada retired in June 2022 after 60 years in the department, however this fund will provide needed resources to graduate students for many years to come.
